PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Torque Box Reinforcement Kit – Upper & Lower Torque boxes are the area in the rear of your Mustang where the upper and lower control arms attach to the chassis. Combined with V8 power and increased loads of torque, these areas can easily become fatigued over time and can begin to crack. This can be harmful to your driveline and overall performance in track and drag racing environments. Additional This kit reinforces the stock upper & lower torque boxes to add strength & durability to your rear end. Constructed of 11 gauge steel, these heavy duty plates can be bolted in for increased reinforcement, but we recommend welding them in order to provide maximum strength. Kits include all mounting brackets, hardware, and installation instructions. Note Upper Reinforcements will not work with factory convertible chassis braces.
