Run Cooler. Mishimoto Dual High Flow 12″ Fans will have your engine running cooler by circulating more air through your mustangs radiator. And the aluminum fan shroud will dissipate heat faster than the factory shroud and is significantly lighter. Some Wiring Required. This Mishimoto Dual Fan with Shroud bolts directly onto the radiator; however 1979-1993 5.0 Mustangs came stock with a clutch fan so the fans will require additional wiring. Optional ways to wire the fans include: wiring to the ignition so the fans come on when the car is on, wiring to a switch, purchasing a thermostatic fan controller (sold separately) to turn on when the coolant hits a specific temperature, or any combination of these. Application. This Dual High Flow 12″ Fan and Aluminum Shroud Kit is designed for a direct fit on the 1979-1993 5.0 Mustang. The aluminum fan shroud bolts up to the factory location.
