Upgrading the shifter on your 82-04 Mustang T5/T45 or 3650 Transmission can result in increased gear noise from the shifter. The solution? A Silicone Shifter & Handle Gasket to ease installation and reduce noise. Pre Cut to seal the shifter base to the transmission and fit between the shifter handle, these gaskets are 1/16th” thick and are reusable. **Note if your gaskets are deforming when tightened or pushing out then you are over tightening the shifter bolts, torque is 11-15 ft lbs**
